| Gordon Lam promotes Hong Kong films in London |

Best Actor Gordon Lam Ka Tung last week went to English as a "Hong Kong Film Week" guest. This film week could be said as his personal mini film festival because 9 of the Hong Kong films like PARADOX and THE BRINK starred Ka Tung. Ka Tung not only attended many events and question and answer segments even appeared on radio and television interviews. He felt that this event was able to display to the English audience Hong Kong's achievement and creativity of the past 20 years. "In the past Hong Kong films have been more commercial, most were action and comedy films but lacked care for people. In recent years a new generation of film directors appeared and started to mix in human emotions, which conceivably would be more engaging to the audience."
