[2017.05.01] CHRISSIE CHAU PROMOTES HER NEW FILM AFTER 24 HOURS ON TVB SERIES

Chrissie Chau Sau Na and Joyce Cheng Yun Yi yesterday promoted their new film 29+1. They with director Kearen Pang Sau Wai and actor Ben Yang (Yeung Seung Bun) played games with the audience. Sister Na and Yun Yi even fed attendees bread then took selfies in hopes of a good performance for the film's release. * (2017/05/01) The Andy Lau Tak Wa produced and starred film SHOCK WAVE (CHAK DAN JUEN GA) after 10 days of release in Hong Kong accumulated over HK$ 1.4 million. In the Mainland after two days its box office already exceeded 100 million in a rather good showing. Recently SHOCK WAVE even became the 19th Udine Far East Film Festival closing film. Director Herman Yau Lai To and screen writer Erica Li Man even went to Italy to attend and meet with the audience there. After the screening the film received good reviews and a long standing ovations ; the local police also attended the closing film screening and was moved by the film's "life protects life" spirit. A foreign film critic pointed out that the film's atmosphere and plot were so intense that they left people out of breath, as the film picked up the classic Hong Kong action film style. Udine Far East Film Festival president Sabrina Baracetti said that SHOCK WAVE was chosen to be the closing film because of its theme of love and peace. The film festival also wished Lau Tak Wa an early recovery.
