Louis Koo Tin Lok and Francis Ng Chun Yu in their new film SHED SKIN (TUET PEI BA BA, tentative title) played father and sons, a sloppy city guy and a white haired old man; no wonder the onlookers did not believe that the white haired old man was Ng Chun Yu.

Goo Jai and Ng Chun Yu yesterday appeared in Shau Kei Wan outdoor market to work on their new film SHED SKIN. The always cool Goo Jai turned into a sloppy flip flop guy with a scar on his face. He worked on a struggle scene with a white haired and wrinkled old man Ng Chun Yu at the butcher stall. The team arranged for over 20 extras to play housewives and merchants. Many looked on but the crew was very cautious. When they realized people were taking photos, they kept raising their arms to block them and asked them to not. Goo Jai and Ng Chun Yu were still very focused on their acting and ignored the onlookers. However when they said that the crowd was jammed into the narrow space, they also intervened to disperse the crowd.

During the break, Ng Chun Yu and the crew studied the production as he displayed his usual professionalism. Goo Jai was stone faced as he sat at the butcher stall and tapped his toes. When he walked he was limping and looked very convincing. In his old man make up Ng Chun Yu really seemed like one. Many people did not recognize him. Some of them even studied who the white haired man was. One of the housewives recognized Ng Chun Yu but the others did not believe her.

Around 5PM, Ng Chun Yu went to a nearby Shanghai style barber shop to change and leave. However even the barber shop windows were taped up with black tape. The team was strict on keeping the film under wraps. Back in casual wear and a cap, Ng Chun Yu's hair returned black and looked 30 years younger. Chun Yu jumped over the barrier and chatted with the crew.
