Wong Jing and Andrew Lau Wai Keung yesterday promoted his Lunar New Year film FROM VEGAS TO MACAU 2 (DOH SING FUNG WON 2) on Metro Radio. They both were confident about the film's box office. Wong Jing said that screenings have been held in the Mainland earlier and the response was decent. Although 7 films will be released at the same time in the Mainland during the Lunar New Year including Jackie Chan's DRAGON BLADE, none will be a comedy like FROM. If it will perform well at the box office, he does not eliminate the possibility for a third film.

Lau Wai Keung said that this time cost almost HK$ 60 million more than the previous film. "One scene was shot in Pattaya, 500,000 was spent after a 3 hour shoot. Now film productions can't cut corners because the current audience can't be fooled." They admitted that the cast was also expensive. The most expensive of course was Chow Yun Fat. The 7 Best Actor award winning Nick Cheung Ka Fai's salary also closed in on Fat Gor's. The cheapest were the two of them.

Although the promotion has been nonstop, Lau Wai Keung revealed that on February 19 he will take time to attend Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun)'s wedding banquet in Taiwan. He said, "I asked Chairman Chou what present would he like, he told me not to bring any. So I will follow his wishes." He revealed that Chow Kit Lun loved Hannah Quinlivan very much. Earlier he saw how sweet they were.

Will Wong Jing work with Chapman To Man Chak again? He said that he would not be against it, but in the short run they will not possibly be able to work together on a film. However they can work together on a Hong Kong film. Wong Jing said, "We have different political views, but at work, he absolutely is a good actor in my mind. He has a lot of ideas, only for now we won't work together."
