Veteran cinematographer Chan Kwok Hung (Tall Guy) on the morning of the 17th while working on the Jackie Chan film SKIPTRACE had an accident at sea and drowned. He was 51. His family two days ago began funeral services in the International Funeral Parlor. Yesterday morning the funeral took place with a Taoist ceremony. The Hong Kong Society of Cinematographers president Andrew Lau Wai Keung and director Benny Chan Muk Sing who has worked with Tall Guy countless times attended to send Tall Guy on his final journey.

Yesterday morning around the ceremony, around 10PM after the coffin was brought to the hearse his son carried Tall Guy's photo and stepped outside the venue. Tall Guy's widow and daughter looked sorrowful, his daughter was more emotional. The trio entered the hearse that transported the remains to the Diamond Hill crematorium. The crew politely asked reporters not to take photos of the family because the family wanted to maintain a low profile. Tall Guy's daughter after entering the hearse covered her face with her hands. Lau Wai Keung, Chan Muk Sing and other family and friends took a bus to the location.
