Best Actor Nick Cheung Ka Fai yesterday appeared at a watch exhibit. He revealed that he was preparing to direct again, as he planned to make another horror film. He said, "The subject would be the same as the previous one, both are about ghosts. However it will add in comedy and human elements. I want to focus on directing so I haven't decided whether I would perform."

Reportedly Ka Fai will work with Nicholas Tse Ting Fung on the film. Ka Fai said that he was still reading the script and has not confirmed production.

Artist Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin and Best Actor Anthony Wong Chau Sun in the Lee Po Cheung directed film GANGSTER PAY DAY (DAI CHA FAN) played a couple with an age distance. Ah Sa stated that she had certain pressure from being paired with Chau Sun. "Playing a couple with Brother Chau Sun I of course had a lot of pressure. At first I was a little worried. Luckily his acting was amazing. As soon as he took his mark he was able to provide me with very manly and very tender look, which immediately triggered my romantic feeling."

In one romantic scene at a bar, Ah Sa needed to lean on Chau Sun's lap. The atmosphere was warm. She said, "This scene was very challenging. I had to speak to him from the heart without holding back. Before the shoot we had to drink to settle down. Chau Sun's famous good acting very easily brought me into character. Actually after the first take the director said fine, but I felt I could do even better. So I asked for another take." Chau Sun even said that shooting this romantic scene was even more difficult than shooting the fight scenes.

With his tough guy image, Chau Sun in GANGSTER played his tender side. He not only was romantic with Ah Sa but also gave flowers. He said that he and Ah Sa have already worked together on three films and had certain chemistry. He also witnessed the fruits of her years of hard work, as her acting matured. He said, "When I got the script I found out that we would play a couple. At first I was a little surprised, but I also recognized this pairing would definitely give the audience a very fresh feeling."

Although Anthony Wong Chau Sun is busy with a series, he still was very concerned about the state of Hong Kong. After he heard the police announcement that 87 tear bombs were used to end the protest two days ago, he responded on Facebook, "That's enough for a war, did the protesters have any weapon? Unless they are Wong Fei Hung, who can use umbrella as a weapon. 87 tear bombs against umbrellas. Hong Kong cops is truly amazing, amazing!"

He continued to cynically replied, "87 tear bombs have turned into 87 funny bombs. Special bulletin, due to the effects of Occupy Central, the October 1st Firework show has been cancelled. Instead tear bombs will be launched. Everyone please remember to bring an umbrella with you when you go out!"

Johnnie To Kei Fung and Wai Ka Fai's latest film DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART 2 (DAN SUN NAM NUI 2) has been scheduled for a November 11 release. After three years, this time the duo again worked with the original team. Since their first film together in 1990, THE STORY OF MY SON, To Kei Fung and Wai Ka Fai have already collaborated for 24 years. This time DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART expanded the previous installment's "two men and one women" story framework to "three men two women". In the film every character was shaped with clear personalities and ample emotions. Last time "Earth Man" Cheung Sun Yin (Louis Koo Tin Lok) proposed to Qing Ziran (Gao Yuanyuan) but was turned down. This time he would return to the field and compete with the Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho) played "Mars Man". He will also set off spark with the Miriam Yeung Chin Wa played "stock goddess". "Venus Man" Vic Chou Yu Man's addition would make this film's story even more topical and explosive.

As for the new film, Wai Ka Fai was asked if he wanted to compare the Hong Kong and Mainland women's view on love through Yeung Chin Wa and Gao Yuanyuan. He said, "I have never liked to label Hong Kong and Mainland girls. These two characters only depict girls with different personalities' different attitude and views on men. Any woman would have a basic special quality to look at men." DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART 2 after the Toronto International Film Festival screenings earlier in the month received overseas media' uniform praises. Next month it will participate in the Busan International Film Festival.

Wong Jing personally produced many classic erotic hit films like NAKED KILLER and RAPED BY AN ANGEL. Lately he planned to return to the genre with a new film titled NGAP WONG (DUCK KING), which will officially start production in the middle of next month. Always willing to use new comers, half a year ago he already begun to recruit and successfully landed Candy Yuen Ka Man, Jeana Ho Pui Yu, Hazel Tong Chi Yui and Mainland "soccer baby" Jolie Fan Ling. Before the film even started production it was already "hotter than hot". Candy even decided on performing in the nude on the big screen. She said, "Brother Jing said that he already noticed me five years ago and praised that I was very pretty and very sexy. He said that he was very confident with movies that depicted the female body. In addition this time I will be in many scenes. It will be quite an opportunity!" Candy at the recommendations of her former bosses Sandra Ng Kwan Yu and Peter Chan Ho Sun to compete in Miss Hong Kong and stood out. Now Kwan Yu is busy with her Year of the Sheep Lunar New Year film GOLDEN DUCK (GUM NGAP, tentative title), she accused braved the accusation of betraying her. Conceivably Brother Jing's sincerity moved her.

The lead actor will be the 25 year old Dominic Ho Ho Man. He was very confident in Brother Jing and was willing to perform all nude for the first time. They have already signed a contract to confirm. Brother Jing even stated that it will push her career to new heights. In the film his character could rival Simon Yam Tat Wa's in GIGOLO AND WHORE (GAI NGAP LUEN) as he planned to make him into a generation of god. In the past the beauty that Brother Jing has supported were all called "Jing Girls". He suddenly wanted to call Ho Ho Man "Jing Hunk", which made the entire venue crack up.

Reportedly Brother Jing will find a suitable location for the production start ceremony next month. The actresses will appear in bikinis. Although he had to be kept how daring the bed scenes would be confidential, but Brother Jing boasted that this time the story would be even more attractive than the sex. Because he will have to handle a series of "battles", Ho Ho Man lately has been working out to achieve his goal soon.

Ho Pui Yu in the film will have a chance to act. Giving up her past sexy image, her goal would be to imitate a female director to perform a tragic love story. Jeana's subject would be Barbara Wong Chun Chun. She and Ho Ho Man will have a bathroom sex scene.

Jeana said that the character awaited the company's announcement, but she was very grateful that this performance would be the chance to showcase her ability. "I don't have to show off my figure, it would be a pure acting challenge. This time I play a female director, my costumes don't have to be sexy. Lately I read the script and it was very touching. Because I am a (Leslie) Cheung Kwok Wing fan, I watched many of Gor Gor's past films like HE IS A WOMAN SHE IS A MAN and romantic tragedy like MOONLIGHT EXPRESS. I hope to be able to get an inspiration for the performance from them."

Rose Chan Ka Wun two nights ago attended the World Hung Kuen Association's first inauguration and witnessed master Checkley Sin Kwok Lam became its president. The long limped Ka Win was preparing to learn Hung Kuen. Her film I SELL LOVE (FAN MAI OI) was selected for the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival.

Ka Wun who challenged being sexy in the film GOLDEN BROTHER (NAM YUN NG HOR YI KUNG) was asked if she no longer wanted to be an action actress. She said, "I can transition. An actress doesn't want to be limited to just one genre." She also wanted to appear with a gun in modern films. "After guest starring in other people's movies, I thought firing a gun was very cool!"

Ronald Cheng Chung Kei, Philip Ng Won Lung, Michelle Hu Yan, Bella Law Chi Kiu yesterday promoted their film SIFU VS. VAMPIRES in Mongkok. Cheng Chung Kei in the film played a Wise Guy who later went to catch vampires. "Jing Girl" Hu Yan also flew from above to kiss him. Since not everyone could see her he had to perform a solo bed scene, which was very awkward for him. Did he perform less intimate scenes after becoming a father? Cheng Chung Kei said that he did not perform many intimate scenes before.

Soon to be a father the second time, Cheng Chung Kei admitted that he was not as nervous as before because it would be the second child. However the entire family was very family, excited and looking forward to it; he also revealed that his wife's expectant date would be February. Now they already know the sex of the child and the entire family is very happy.

Cheng Chung Kei continued that he will work with Tin Kai Ming on a film company. After the child is born the new film DRUNKEN MASTER KENNEDY will start production and star Chapman To Man Chak. He will direct and star. Frog will produce. For now he does not know how much the investment will be and the lead actress is still being considered. Speaking of Occupy Central, he felt that democracy and freedom are necessary, but freedom also needs self discipline.

Kelvin Kwan Chor Yiu played the villain and became a vampire in the film. He revealed that he and Law Chi Kiu had an intimate scene. She bit him all over and the scene was pretty hardcore. Unfortunately in the end it was cut. Was he excited while working on that scene? He said that he was. Was he all stiff? He joked, "Yes, because I turned into a vampire I have to be in character." He stated that he had a reaction during the shoot, but before hand the make up took two hours. With the very long fingernails, going to the bathroom was less than convenient.

Law Chi Kiu said that the intimate scene with Kwan Chor Yiu was not awkward as she trusted the director. Speaking of Kwan Chor Yiu's biological reaction claim, she said that she felt everyone's heart to heart warmth. In addition, Ng Won Lung earlier was caught with his arm around rumored girlfriend Linda Chung Ka Yun's shoulder. He said that at the time he was only patting Ka Yun on the back because she was choking. Ng Won Lung said that he has always wanted to maintain his privacy and said that he paid attention to Ka Yun's new series performance. Did he feel that Ka Yun had a chance to win an award? Ng Won Lun said that it would wait for God's arrangement.

The 23rd Golden Rooster Hundred Flower Film Festival closing ceremony and the 32nd Hundred Flower Award took place in Lanzhou last night. Zhang Ziyi again with THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI) defeated Tang Wei to win Best Actress, her 11th for the role. Huang Xiaoming also with AMERICAN DREAMS IN CHINA defeated Jackie Chan to win Best Actor. Vicki Zhao Wei with SO YOUNG defeated Wong Kar Wai to win Best Director, but Wong Kar Wai's THE GRANDMASTERS won Best Picture.

Last night the Hundred Flower Award selected 101 viewers who voted for each award. However the result was expected. Zhang Ziyi continued to be incredible as she won her 11th actress award with THE GRANDMASTERS again. She won her second Hundred Flower Best Actress after THE ROAD HOME in 2000. THE GRANDMASTERS also won Best Picture. When Zhang Ziyi accepted the Best Actress award she seemed to be upset for Wong Kar Wai, who did not win Best Director. "The award is a bonus, but your work will endure for generations."

Some viewers realized that when she accepted the award, the event played Wang Feng's RAGING LIFE. Some viewers also caught Zhang Ziyi and Zhao Wei, who were rumored to be at odds, had zero exchange. When Zhao Wei won Zhang Ziyi did not applaud. Best Actor Huang Xiaoming last year also won the Golden Rooster Best Actor with AMERICAN DREAMS IN CHINA. He said, "I am pretty old fashioned. When I have a dream, I would keep working hard (to achieve it). I am not a natural born good actor, but I believe through my hard work I definitely will become a good actor." When Huang Xiaoming performed PASSIONATE DESERT he even grabbed Zhao Wei for a dance. Later when they were interviewed backstage, reporters asked if Xiaoming was worried that girlfriend Angelababy would be jealous? He immediately smiled and said that he had to call her with the good news and advanced warning.

Zhao Wei's directing debut SO YOUNG defeated two great master class directors Wong Kar Wai and Peter Chan Ho Sun to win Best Director. Before coming to the stage she first shook Wong Kar Wai's hand. Wong Kar Wai congratulated her with a smile. She said, "I am very surprised. Wong Kar Wai and Chan Ho Sun are both directors I respect very much. The Hundred Flower award has always liked me, I also thank all the viewers who also liked me so much." She not only congratulated former classmate Huang Xiaoming on his award but also made fun of him. "Now he is a god, he used to be so old fashioned." Zhao Wei won the Hundred Flower Best Actress in 2010 with MULAN. Last year at the Golden Rooster Award she won Best Director Debut award.

Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress went to AMERICAN DREAMS IN CHINA's Tong Dawei and SILENT WITNESS' Deng Jiajia. Tong Dawei after accepting the award called his wife with the good news on the stage. Deng Jiajia after her speech was so emotional that she also tripped backstage.

Last night's closing ceremony red carpet ran into a thunderstorm. Zhang Ziyi, Wong Kar Wai, Zhao Wei, Huang Xiaoming, Max Zhang Jin, Guo Shu-Yao, Tong Dawei and others had to brave the rain to walk the red carpet. However when Xiaoming and Zhao Wei appeared together, Xiaoming held an umbrella like a gentleman and attentively protected Zhao Wei. They were well matched and described as just as romantic as an idol series' leads. Some even praised that they should be together, but in real life they both had significant others.

Just finishing her concerts, Fiona revealed that she has not rested all along. Because in early October she will release her Cantonese record, lately she has been busy with the micro movie of her song FINAL FINAL's post production work. She said, "This time I finally officially become a director. The story is about a pure love, it won't have any intimate scene like kissing."

Speaking of her friend Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming), Fiona only said that she was praying for him and did not want to say too much about the rest; she said that having known Cho Ming for 10 years, he has treated her and her friends very well. Thus no matter what, she would care about and love him. Would she visit him if she could? Fiona said, "Now the answer to the case remains unknown, when it is known I will worry about that. (Have you comforted him in any way?) Yes, but I won't say how. I will pay close attention to information about him." Reportedly Jackie Chan will take over Cho Ming's jobs, would Fiona help? She immediately said, as a good friend she would not reply to any non constructive opinion.

Linah Matsuoka earlier successfully landed in Stephen Chow Sing Chi's new film MERMAID's final six actress recruitment. She said that she still did not know when the film will start production, but she will definitely have a character. Thus now she has been working hard on her Putonghua. What character would she like to play? Matsuoka said, "Sing Yeh is a genius, I will think up a suitable character for me. (Will you accept playing an ugly character?) I will try to the best of my ability."

Currently busy with his new film CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON II: THE GREEN DESTINY in New Zealand. Earlier he, Michelle Yeoh (Yeung Chi King) and other team members celebrated Director Yuen Woo Ping's 69th birthday on the set. Chi Tan even ordered a "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" cake for Lord Eight, which made him very happy.

Chi Tan respected Lord Eight so much completely because Lord Eight brought him into the business. Over the years the master and the disciple's relationship was great. This was their first collaboration since IRON MONKEY in 1996. Chi Tan reportedly for CROUCHING 2 turned down other Hollywood film contracts in order to return the favor with action.
