The two show "Father of Concerts Yiu Wing Hong Kong Coliseum Show" opened last night. Stars who have worked with Cheung Yiu Wing like Mayday, Joey Yung Cho Yi, Kelly Chen Wai Lam, Jacky Cheung Hok Yau, Sammi Cheng Sau Man, Sally Yeh (Yip Sin Man), Jenny Tseng, William So Wing Hong, the Grasshoppers and others perform to salute Uncle Yiu Wing. The show was sold out. In the audience were Deborah Li and her husband Mustache Kong, and Uncle Yiu Wing's wife. The event also saved Uncle Yiu Wing a seat under the control room, with a bottle of cola that was labeled Cheung at the seat.

Last night the show opened with a video introduction of Uncle Yiu Wing's life, praising his effort for fulfilling singers' Hong Kong Coliseum stage dreams and dedicating the Hong Kong Coliseum stage to Uncle Yiu Wing. When the concert officially began, a recorded message from Chan Suk Fun was played. "We regret the loss of a good friend very much. He was the publicly recognized Father of Concerts. When he organized concerts he never considered whether they would profit or not. As long as singers wanted to perform, he would help. He did everything personally and saw the Hong Kong Coliseum as his second home. I hope everyone would give him their best performance tonight."

Later the singers appeared for the salute to Anthony Lun Wing Leung's piano rendition of YEARS FLOWS LIKE WATER, except Hok Yau, Cheng Sau Man and Jenny Tseng who were preparing to appear on the stage. Yung Choi Yi, the Grasshoppers, Joyce Cheng Yun Yi, Sally Yeh and Mayday all appeared in mourning colors but light spirits. First act Cheng Sau Man performed BEAUTIFUL FOR LIFE and the crowd roared. She often asked the audience to sing along to express everyone's remembrance of Uncle Yiu Wing in their hearts.

Later the event also displayed photos of the Hong Kong Coliseum construction process and photos with singers whom have worked with Uncle Yiu Wing on concerts. Then "Giant Lungs" Jenny Tseng appeared and performed LOVING ONLY YOU and TALK ABOUT TODAY TOMORROW. Jenny Tseng recalled, "Back then I performed at the Lee Theater. Uncle Yiu Wing was the one who encouraged me to perform the first concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum. The venue was 5 times larger. Uncle Yiu Wing also organized my 60 year old Hong Kong Coliseum concerts. Tonight I am here absolutely for Uncle Yiu Wing." She also wished that Mrs. Cheung would be able to continue her long journey in good health.

In addition, Hok Yau, Chen Wai Lam, George Lam Chi Cheung, Sally Yeh, Eliza Chan Kit Ling and Anthony Lun Wing Leung were among those who appeared at the Hong Kong Coliseum yesterday afternoon for final rehearsal. Fans screamed Hok Yau's name as soon as they saw him. When Hok Yau went over to shake their hands they rushed up to present gifts and asked for autographs. After the rehearsals he went back to shake hands with the fans.

In the middle of the month the court issued a bankruptcy order to Uncle Yiu Wing's "Yiu Wing Entertainment", thus his concert kingdom announced its end. The event revealed that the proceeds from this concert would go to Uncle Yiu Wing's family. The concert organizer Chan Suk Fun and the workers appeared in the afternoon for a worship ceremonies, but Uncle Yiu Wing's family did not appear and Yiu Wing Entertainment did not send any representative. Everyone replaced wine with Uncle Yiu Wing's favorite cola at the ceremony and pray for everything to go smoothly. Hok Yau during rehearsal was asked about the "Yiu Wing Entertainment" bankruptcy order. He helplessly said, "Mr. Cheung ran the operation, with his passing, (the company) closing would be very normal."

Ko Chen-Tung was under administrative detention for 14 days for the suspicion of drug use in Beijing. Two days ago after his release he immediately held a press conference to apologize with his parents and manager Angie Chai. They arrived in Taiwan early in the morning on a red eye flight. Yesterday afternoon he held another press conference in Taipei, but this time his parents did not accompany him. Only his manager did. He again publicly apologized for the incident and said that he has made a wrong example, frequently saying, "I am very sorry". However he did not cry again.

Yesterday the Taipei press conference took place, over 100 media outlets covered the event. However the scale was smaller than the Beijing press conference. The atmosphere was more relaxed. Ko Chen-Tung appeared in white as he did the day before, but he was more emotionally stable. He no longer sobbed, but he still did not dare to directly look at the media. Angie Chai choked up as soon as she began with an apology to the media for her poor handling.

Ko Chen-Tung solemnly said, "Friends in the media how are you. Since the incident started, thank you for all your effort and concern. I must clearly state again that I am very sorry and apologetic. I have become the worst example for many people. From the incident to today, from Beijing to back home in Taipei, during this period I have been very in a panic and lost. Over the past few days with family and friends' encourage, I knew that I have made a very severe mistake. I must reform and start over. I am very sorry for making everyone very worried and concerned over this period, I have to say sorry to everyone who know me. I have been a very negative role model for you. I have also disappointed many people, disappointing and making things difficult for people around me, Sister Chai, family and co-workers. I am very sorry, I must correct my own mistakes, start over, properly, to make myself better and better. Sorry, I am very sorry, thank you everyone."

When asked about his current relationship with Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming), Ko Chen-Tung said that Cho Ming was a very kind person. He has always taken care of him. He said, "He also has given me a lot of positive energy. Perhaps we both have made mistakes, but I believe he is a good person." He even said that they would still be good friends after reforming. As for his breakdown in Beijing being called good acting, he said, "As soon as I was released I had an apology press conference within 24 hours. I was very nervous, I didn't know how to face this incident. While inside I didn't know anything about the outside, so when I had to go out and apologize, I no longer had any way to control my emotions because I no longer had to any way to imagine it. My mistake has made such a big impact, I was very sadden, very sorry, I had no need to play this scene."

After his release, he said that he did not thought much about it. As for disappointing his fans, he said that now he has not thought about wanting people to like Ko Chen-Tung. He only wanted to make himself better and better. He said, "I beg them not to follow from my negative behavior. I hope to deliver a positive message. I am very sorry." Speaking of his drug addiction of over two years, he stressed that he first came in contact with drugs two years ago. He did not use over two years as said. He also did not have any addiction. In Taiwan no such incident has taken place. As for why he would touch drugs, he stressed that at the time he did not have any pressure and poor emotions, it was just a stupid choice.

As for holding two apology press conference, Angie Chai said that they hoped for face to face explanation through the press conference. She also denied making a draft for the Beijing press conference. What Ko Chen-Tung said completely came from his heart. She also said that she has not received any news that Ko Chen-Tung would not be able to go to the Mainland for two years. For now no advertiser has asked for compensation from Ko Chen-Tung and his management company. Although several advertisers have halted his work temporarily, most were willing to get over the hard times with him. As for Ko Chen-Tung's films none has been kept from release so far because they were everyone's work. In addition, the Taipei District Prosecutor Office has already asked the Policed to send him a summons for him to explain at the police station on September 1st.

Aside from Beijing and Taipei apology press conferences, Ko Chen-Tung last night conducted an online apology "tour" on Weibo, Facebook and IG. The Weibo reaction was the most enthusiastic. Although he only wrote "Sorry everyone, I definitely will be even better", every soon over 400 million people have posted messages. Most were encouraging words.

Taiwan artist Ko Chen-Tung was arrested with Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming) for marijuana use. After 14 days of administrative detention, yesterday morning he was released and in the afternoon he held his first apology press conference in Beijing. Dressed in white, Ko Chen Tung appeared with his parents and manager. Throughout the entire apology event his face was covered with tears to express how sorry he was. He said, "Very sorry, sorry, I have made a mistake on this matter. I don't have any reason, any cause, or any excuse. I am just wrong!" He described the entire matter as an ugly scar that would follow him for the rest of his life. He would even remind himself at anytime the pain of his mistake.

The 23 year old Ko Chen-Tung after 14 days in the detention center yesterday morning was released and finally he was able to enjoy the air of freedom. Ko Chen-Tung after half a day of rest yesterday afternoon with his manager Angie Chai and his parents attended the apology press conference.

His manager Angie Chai led the way, Ko Chen-Tung appeared with his parents. He bowed in apology as he solemnly said, "This time I made a mistake, without any reason, any cause, or any excuse. I was just wrong." Then he broke down. Starting his career 3 years ago, Ko Chen-Tung made the name known to everyone. The journey has always been very smooth. He said, "Yet at the time I didn't know that the name Ko Chen-Tung didn't belong to just me. The most hard to talk and the most worrying was that because of my own selfish and stupid behavior, my family has suffered enormous pressure. My parents and brother are all very sadden and heartbroken. I am very sorry......but I was wrong, without reason. I must face it, face the mistake, the most important is to correct this mistake."

Ko Chen-Tung then said, "For several days I have been thinking a lot. The world has no drug for regret, only if you are willing to change or not. I am willing because I don't want to sadden anyone who loves me and people I love. I truly have wronged them."

Speaking of fans who have always protected him, he said, "I made a mistake and broke the law, I am very sorry. Please don't follow my example. I will work very hard on the correction. I absolutely will not break the law again. I will work hard on reforming myself, growing up a little more everyday."

As for the future, Ko Chen-Tung again tearfully said, "This time is like an ugly scar that would follow me for the rest of my life, but it is on me; I can see it at anytime and remember the pain of the mistake. Sorry everyone, I have become the worst, the most negative role model. For these people I would be brave, to make myself better and better. Sorry!" Ko Chen-Tung cried that he was willing to change. Father Ko also would examine how he raised his children and apologized to the public. The Ko family and Angie Chai rose and gave a 5 second long bow to end the speech portion.
