Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho) aside from acting and directing also invested in a sushi shop. In 2008 founded a management company Revolution and signed friend Jun Kung Shek Leung, Terence Yin (Wan Chi Wai), the group 24 Herbs, Andrew Lin Hoi, Ken Wong Hap Hei and Michael Wong Man Tak. In 2012 Maggie Cheung Man Yuk was rumored to be interested in joining and start a music career, but they could not come to terms. Later Daniel and Stephen Fung Tak Lun invested in Diversion Pictures.

Daniel has been absent from his film OVERHEARD 3 (SIT TING FUNG WON 3)'s promotion except online. On May 29 he posted, "I heard that OVERHEARD 3's Beijing premiere was very cheerful. Because something happened at home, this time I can't see and interact everyone with my buddies. I am very sorry!"

Actually Daniel's mother was seriously ill and Daniel decided to suspend all his show business work. He, his wife Lisa S. and daughter Raven remained in the U.S. while his mother treated her illness. Usually a workaholic, he finally realized that he has spent very little time with his family before. In the future family will come first.

Daniel had no time to take care of his management company Revolution. He did not want to hinder his friends' development. After discussions with the other boss Peter Lam Kin Ngok, he decided to dissolve Revolution at the end of the month.

Kung Shek Leung whose contract will soon end will join Paco Wong's Sun Entertainment. Wan Chi Wai, 24 Herbs and Revolution employees will switch to Lam Kin Ngok's Media Asia. For now Daniel's family will remain in the U.S.
