Artist Carlos Chan Ka Lok recently for the Dante Lam Chiu Yin directed Emperor Motion Picture TO THE FORE (POR FUNG) has begun a bicycle and fitness training secretly. Earlier he privately practiced in Tai Po. He pointed out that every morning he had to get up at 9AM and train for 10 hours. After two weeks his weight dropped 10 pounds to 140 pounds. He joked that he was as thin as a mummy.

Chan Ka Lok pointed out that because both of his legs had to be locked on the pedals, he often fell over with his bicycle early in the training. "The first few days of the training were pretty dangerous, I almost didn't have the guts to pedal full force. However after five days I began to get used to it and dared to perform competition maneuvers like pedaling while standing and leaning forward." He also said that he was working on his leg muscles on the hill, and his metabolism was fast. Everyday he could eat five to six meals. He even hoped to reach 160 pounds within the month.
