Vicki Zhao Wei recently posted a very simple village woman photo, a costume photo of the Peter Chan Ho Sun directed new film DEAR CHILD. This film yesterday held its Beijing press conference. Aside from Zhao Wei the film also has Huang Bo and Tong Dawei. It will be a story about the search for a child that is kidnapped and sold. After 3 years without a new film, Zhao Wei and Chan Ho Sun have looked forward to this film for 10 years. Zhao Wei in the film will play a farm village mother. When her photo without makeup was unveiled, people online felt that she and Huang Bo looked well matched. Zhao Wei admitted that this character will be a huge challenge and very hard to play, she could not sleep or eat. She also recalled when she went to kindergarten she talked to school on her own. The environment then was much safer, now it is indeed worrying. Father Tong Dawei hoped that this film would bring the community's attention and also called for laws for child DNA and fingerprint samples at born to increase the chance of finding a kidnapped child.
