April 7 will be Jackie Chan's 60th birthday. His son Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming) will organize a concert on April 6 in Beijing to celebrate. Eric Tsang Chi Wai was asked if he would celebrate with his friend in Beijing. Chi Wai said that he would be very busy with a party for Jacki Chan on April 10 in Hong Kong, but he declined to reveal any detail. The surprise would have to wait until birthday boy Jackie Chan to return and unwrap the gift himself.

3 years ago, Alan Tam Wing Lun and Nat Chan Pak Cheung both turned 60, Chi Wai planned many surprises for these two buddies. Aside from a 1950 Mini Cooper for Alan with a license plate "ALAN TAM" to coordinate with his 1950 birth year, at Ah Lek's birthday banquet he narrated a short slide show of his childhood photos. This time would be Jackie Chan's turn and Chi Wai would put a lot of thought into cheering up his friend.

Chi Wai is a friend in good times and bad like that. For example Jackie Chan earlier often misspoke, Chi Wai joked that he had problems with expressing himself and only knew to express with his kung fu. Actually he was just saying something nice on behalf of his friend, praising him to be a kind person.

Because how sincere Chi Wai has been to friends, last year for his own 60th birthday he said that he wanted to take the entire year for a vacation and enjoy life. His friends like Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Carina Lau Ka Ling, Nick Cheung Ka Fai, Jacky Cheung Hok Yau, Alan, Ah Lek, Kenny Bee (Chung Chun To) and others dropped their work and went with him. Chi Wai could not have been happier as he often said that it was quite a rare experience.
