Aaron Kwok Fu Sing last night along with Donnie Yen Chi Tan and his wife, Joe Chen Chiao-En and director Soi Cheang Po Shui went to Taiwan for THE MONKEY KING (SAI YAU GEI ji DAI LAU TIN GUNG) premiere. Yen Chi Tan saw a group of children who were dressed as the Pretty Monkey King, his "monkey instinct" kicked in as he immediately showed off a few tricks. The crowd reacted enthusiastically; when asked about Chow Yun Fat's criticism that he was very mean on the set, Yen Chi Tan immediately clarified that actually they were playing good cop bad cop. Only those did not understand would think that they were arguing.

Yen Chi Tan and Sing Sing have already watched this film in Hong Kong. They both felt that it was well worth waiting three years for, in particular all the investments were very expensive. Yen Chi Tan joked that he was the cheapest, as "kung fu ring" or "magic ring" was a piece of equipment that was imported especially; Sing Sing joked that it gave him a real taste of what flying felt like.

Chen Chiao-En in the film played Princess Iron Fan with Sing Sing's Bull Demon King. Without any romantic scene they went directly into the pregnancy stage. Yen Chit Tan joked that since this time they did not have any intimate scene, next time they could make a prequel. Sing Sing also said this time was truly regrettable, next time they could make an independent romance.
