The 56th Asia Pacific Film Festival award ceremony takes place tonight in Macau. Last night the organizer held a Macau Night. Asia Pacific Film Festival planning committee chair Eric Tsang Chi Wai and the STREETS OF MACAO (OH MOON GAI) cast Pakho Chau, Cecilia Yip Tung and others attended. Pakho said, "I have claustrophobia. In one scene I was buried alive and the shoot took 11 hours. I was crying and cramping all over."

Chi Wai said that the Asia Pacific Film Festival is growing in scale. This year the production costs over HK$20 million as participating nations all sent representatives to attend. More than 3 times the people, over 600, than the previous year gathered in Macau. The Asia Pacific Film Festival next year will take place in Thailand and Malaysia the year after.
