Fresh out of the oven Golden Horse Award Best Actress Zhang Ziyi is lucky in career and love, winning all Chinese film industry award Best Actress and becoming the Triple Crown Best Actress. Although two nights ago she did not publicly thank boyfriend Wang Feng, but at the celebration she admitted that she received his "love text message". Wang Feng yesterday even posted online, "Go! My Queen!" to cheer her on, a response to Zhang Ziyi earlier calling Feng Wang "My Music King".

First time Golden Horse Best Actress Zhang Ziyi two nights ago changed into another evening gown to attend THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI) celebration. In great spirit she answered all questions. When asked if she received a love text message from her lover, Zhang Ziyi sweetly smiled and said, "Of course!" Reporters asked, "What about Wang Feng?" Zhang Ziyi said without hesitation, "That's him! Who else would it be?" She directly and publicly admitted that Wang Feng was her lover.

Wang Feng yesterday revealed online his love declaration to Zhang Ziyi, "Like our persistence, all of your determination and contribution are worthy. I am proud of you! Go, My Queen!"

Zhang Ziyi was the second after Zhou Xun to win the Golden Rooster Ward, the Hong Kong Film Award and the Golden Horse Best Actress to become the Triple Crown Best Actor. Will she consider marriage sooner? Zhang Ziyi said that she has always wanted a family. Since graduating from the university at age 24 she has hoped to be like her mother, get married and start a family at age 30. However she felt that love was beyond expectation. "I will find someone who I can truly spend the rest of my life with. You never know who that would be." As for marriage, Zhang Ziyi bashfully said, "I am not saying any more."

Zhang Ziyi said that she received a lot of well wishes from family and friends like Wang Leehom, Leon Lai Ming, Huang Xiaoming and Tong Dawei, but she regretted that Tony Leung Chiu Wai and Wong Kar Wai did not win. "Wai Jai is the Best Actor always, Wong Kar Wai is truly the Grand Master. As for Leung Chiu Wai's absence from the celebration, Wong Kar Wai said, "Zhang Ziyi truly deserves the honor, Leung Chiu Wai came to support the Golden Horse, support Director Hou Hsiao-Hsien and Director Ang Lee."

Some online discussed why Maggie Cheung Man Yuk declined to present the award to Zhang Ziyi. Andy Lau Tak Wa and Cheung Man Yuk were the Best Actress guest presenter. When Zhang Ziyi went on stage, Cheung Man Yuk gave Zhang Ziyi a hug. Lau Tak Wa wanted to hand the award to Cheung Man Yuk for her to present to Zhang Ziyi but Cheung Man Yuk shook her had and insisted against touching the award. They went back and forth for 5 seconds and finally Lau Tak Wa awkwardly presented the award to Zhang Ziyi. Some online joked, "Cheung Man Yuk purely wanted to watch a hunk present it to a beauty!"

The Taiwan Golden Horse Award committee chair Hou Hsiao-Hsien after completing the "Golden Horse 50" mission handed the baton to Sylvia Chang (Cheung Ngai Ga). Hou Hsiao-Hsien confirmed that the Ang Lee led jury presented the biggest prize to ILO ILO in order to spread the message of encouraging new directors. Cheung Ngai Ga also felt that the Golden Horse Award was becoming more and more open, which would help maintain its top Chinese Film Festival position.

The Tsai Ming-Liang directed STRAY DOGS lost by 1 vote to the Singapore film ILO ILO, but he still was happy for ILO's Best Feature Film victory. Tsai Ming-Liang in the past protested against the Golden Horse Award unfairness twice and resigned from competition. He said, "The jury has become younger and discussed film on its merit. It is in a healthy state, so I can accept it at ease."

The 29 year old Best New Director winner Anthony Chen did not expect to able to defeat masters to win the award. He admitted that he attended only because he wanted to shake Ang Lee's hand, thus receiving online criticism that he was proud. He said, "I really like Ang Lee very much, I also sincerely thank the Golden Horse Award. However I worry that all of my luck has been spent this year." Ang Lee reminded Anthony Chen, "With such a high start, the next step will be even harder!"

Sammi Cheng Sau Man with BLIND DETECTIVE (MAN TAM) competed for the Golden Horse Best Actress but finally lost to THE GRANDMASTERS' Zhang Ziyi. Jury chair Ang Lee said that Zhang Ziyi had to wait until the third round voting before she was able to defeat Sammi and JOURNEY TO THE WEST (SAI YAU GONG MOR PIN)'s Shu Qi to win her first Golden Horse Best Actress.

Sammi yesterday wrote online, "The ninth Best Actress nomination in my life is also my ninth loss. Yet each nomination has also truly brought me different lessons and experience, even understanding. I like to witness the toughness and peace inside me. Also congratulations to Ziyi, her 'Gong Er" performance truly was convincing and deeply admirable for me."

Brigitte Lin (Lam Ching Ha) has retired from film for years. In recent years she has been frequently rumored to return to film. Two nights ago host Mickey Huang asked her on the red carpet, "Would there be any possibility that you would return to film? For example when Director Tsui Hark asks you or when Chiung Yao asks you?" Lam Ching Ha lightly replied, "I still would rather watch Tsui Hark's movies, Chiung Yao's movies, Ang Lee's movies at the cinema, which is more relaxing." She stated that she had no comeback plan yet.
