The film's first trailer and poster have been unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival. In the poster Lau Ching Wan displayed his masculine charm and was described as Morgan Freeman of the East. The other two leads Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Louis Koo Tin Lok were oozing drama as well. Chan Muk Sing described the trio's rehearsal felt like one with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino, with A BETTER TOMORROW flavor and Quentin Tarantino tone. They created an unexpected chemical reaction.
