The Emperor film THE STOOL PIGEON (SIN YUN) will soon be released. Its promotions followed one wave after another. Today in three Hong Kong high traffic areas three 45 second long television commercials will air for a week. Director Dante Lam Chiu Yin deliberately edited
three different themed television commercials with Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Liu Kai Chi.

The actors tell the story in first person in the three television commercials. Just released from prison but carrying a heavy family burden, Tse Ting Fung's Little Ghost gets on the road of an informant, which is a dead end road. In the end how can he sell out others to be able to save himself? Cheung Ka Fai in the film played senior inspector Lee Chong Tung, who overlooked his informant's safety in order to solve the case and ended up with a lifetime of guilt. Lee Chong Tung not only had to withstand heavy pressure but also worry about his informant's life. The struggle between fame, fortune and conscience continued on and was about to get out of control. Informant Liu Kai Chi was the brink of retirement but something unexpected happened. Many scenes with Ka Fai pushed the two's acting to the peak, truly making the audience look forward to the film.
