Aarif Rahman (Lee Chi Ting) joined Leon Lai Ming's Amusic and received support in music and movies. Last year Leon invested in the new film FROZEN and arranged for him to pair with Janice Vidal (Wai Lan) and Janice Man for his debut. Then with ECHOES OF THE RAINBOW (SHUI YUET SUN TAU) he won the Hong Kong Film Award Best New Artist. Now he caught a film company's eye for the lead role in a Bruce Lee biography movie.

This year would have been the 70th birthday of the martial up superstar of a generation, Bruce Lee. Producer Manfred Wong (Man Jun) reportedly was rushing to start work on a movie about Bruce Lee in his youth before he rose to stardom. Reportedly before planning the film, Man Jun already paid attention to Aarif. When he saw Aarif in the ECHOES OF THE RAINBOW Berlin Film Festival official promotional poster, he thought Aarif's hairstyle and smile had shades of a young Bruce Lee and that he would be very suitable to play the role.

Under Man Jun's arrangement, Aarif in the company of his manager Joe Chan Sin Chi earlier met with Bruce Lee's brother Lee Chun Fai. Lee Chun Fai agreed that Aarif had the spirit and the shadow of his brother. Thus both sides came to an agreement immediately. Reportedly also in the cast will be Tony Leung Ka fai, who will play Aarif's father in the film.

Man Jun said, "Several years ago a Beijing film company has already begun the preparation, this year I took over. Because it is under preparation and applying for inspection, right now I am not at liberty to reveal anything." Will the lead actor be Aarif? He said, "He is one of the choices. I have contacted his manager Joe, but a lot haven't been confirmed yet. I am not at liberty to talk more about it."
