The Derek Yee Tung Sing produced OVERHEARD (SIT TING FUNG WON) two nights ago at the Hong Kong Film Awards only won one Best Editing award. However the team already planned to meet up for dinner after the ceremony, thus two nights ago they still celebrated at the Peninsula Hotel. Even if they did not win they would still eat together. Was Yee Tung Sing disappointed that the film only received one award? Siu Bo honestly said that he was not. He said that he was a Hong Kong Film Award frequent guest and no one could not always win. However, when he saw Wai Ying Hung's victory he was truly very touched.

Siu Bo expressed that working in this business was very stressful. Actors are emotional people, sometimes they could easily hit bottom. When he was creating he would worry that he would have no inspiration and no one would approach him to make another movie again. Thus when he saw Siu Hung's victory after 28 years he was very touched. Siu Bo pointed out that he has not cried in many years and never expected to cry twice this month. Two weeks ago he attended Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho)'s wedding in South Africa. The ceremony was very moving and one of the most memorable in his lifetime.

Siu Bo pointed out that they went to somewhere in South Africa where resources were hard to come by. Lisa S. prepared some clothes for the villagers and they also were very touched. Siu Bo expressed that after this trip he would cherish water and basic resources. Was his creativity inspired this time? Siu Bo expressed that he realized movies did not have to be just fighting, ECHOES OF THE RAINBOW (SHUI YUET SUN TAU)'s award already was a huge proof of that. Siu Bo also said that he was happy for Teddy Chan Tak Sum's first Best Director and Simon Yam Tat Wa's first Best Actor because directors and actors need encouragement too and they proved that hard work in the end would be rewarded.
