[2010.01.07] YUEN WOO PING ADDS DETAILS TO TRUE LEGEND

The Yuen Woo Ping directed 3D martial art film TRUE LEGEND (SO HAK YI) will be released on February 11 for the Lunar New Year. The new over two minute long trailer was unveiled yesterday. It not only has highlights of numerous exciting fight scenes with Vincent Zhao Wen Zhou, Andy On Chi Kit, Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun), Guo Xiaodong and others, Zhou Xun's touching emotional scenes that connect them but big special guest stars like Michelle Yeoh (Yeung Chi King) and Feng Xiaogang also appeared.

Yuen Woo Ping this time not only made the character's emotions stand out in his action design, with So Chan's stubbornness, Yuen Lit's viciousness, Martial Art God's pride on display with each actor's every move, but he also put an effort into So Chan and his wife's relationship that Drunken Fist founder So Hak Yi's perseverance in life. Zhou Xun played So Chan's wife Yuen Ying. In the trailer she lightly said, "flesh and bone never part in life", which became the source of So Hak Yi's lifelong power. So Chan's son Fung Yi's tearful persistence toward his mad beggar father was even more touching.
